About

I am a South African artist and illustrator, living in the Southern Suburbs, Cape Town.

I completed my Fine Art degree in 2008 and an Honours in Illustration in 2013. In my paintings and drawings I try to embrace fleeting moments, capture moments of doubt, love, laughter, comfort and awe.

Detail and patterns have a way of sneaking into my work. The hidden shapes in our moments is what catches my eye and inspires an image.

There is a neatly organised little wooden table in our living room that is currently my work space. Every now and again I am left flowers and drawings by my children and I am hoping every little gift makes its way into one of my drawings.
